If you are new to EFT tapping for grief, during a personalised face-to-face session in Melbourne I will:

  • teach you the basic EFT tapping protocol (which you can use to support any aspect of your life)

  • teach you how to use EFT tapping to move through your grief with ease

  • listen to areas in your life you are personally struggling with in your grief and help you adapt EFT Tapping to your specific needs.
     

If you already know how to use Emotional Freedom Technique tapping, I will:

  • teach you how to get the most out of using EFT tapping to better adjust to your daily life

  • help you customise EFT Tapping to address your specific grief needs

  • support you to address troublesome memories or work through grief struggles using EFT
     

What is Emotional Freedom Technique? 
 

Emotional Freedom Technique (also known as tapping) is a healing therapy in which the person repeats specific verbal statements while tapping on their meridian points to produce a rapid calming response that brings about transformation in the mind and body.

What are EFT for grief sessions about?   

EFT for grief healing sessions are focussed on your personal grieving experiences and problem areas. For a few people, learning the basic EFT protocol is enough to help regulate their emotional experiences, as they are able to figure out how to apply the general principles of EFT for grief to their particular experiences.

​

Most people come to me for a more personalised approach, where we work through specific problem areas to help alleviate their grief.

​

For example:

  • A tapping for grief session might involve unpacking a specific memory or experience that has been bothersome, and using EFT tapping to help bring a sense of calm and peace to that experience, so it no longer has the same emotional effect when it unexpectedly shows up. 

  • Tapping for grief sessions may focus on specific goals, such as planning for, and working through, significant events and anniversaries.

With regular one-one grief tapping sessions I help you focus on areas that will provide you with more energy for living in a focussed and measured way.

Not sure where to start with healing your grief? 

I know it can be difficult to know where to start, especially as grief can leave you feeling helpless, scared and unsure of how to move forward in life.  During a tapping for grief session I will help you make sense of where you can begin to explore your personal grief experiences through the use of a simple living with grief impact assessment.  By bringing focussed attention to different aspects of your grief, be it your emotional experiences or life experiences (e.g. daily living tasks, socialising, parenting, finances etc.), you can gain clarity on which areas you may need more support.

How many EFT grief healing sessions will I need? 

EFT Grief healing sessions are tailored specifically to your problem areas.  You may only need one or two sessions to gain the confidence you need to address problems on your own.  Or you may need more. 

Everyone’s grief healing journey is unique and grief doesn’t follow a timeline.

I will work with you based on what’s most needed in the present moment.  Many clients report feeling more at peace and feel a greater sense of control over their grief after the first session. 

​

Some areas that EFT grief healing sessions can help with include: 

  • Dealing with the death of a loved one/s (e.g. death of parents, death of a child, death of a spouse or significant relationship, death of a pet)

  • Dealing with overwhelming grief emotions– from sadness, to shame, guilt, anger and much more.

  • Adjusting to daily life that may be new or unfamiliar (e.g. dealing with finances, looking for or returning to work, managing a household etc.)

  • Navigating social situations following the death of loved ones, job loss or relationship breakup or finding ways to talk about grief and loss with friends and family.

  • Support for pregnancy loss and miscarriage

  • Parenting through grief

  • Preparing for life with a new baby after miscarriage.

  • Adjusting to motherhood or fatherhood

  • Dealing with significant events (e.g. anniversaries, first birthdays and holidays) after the death of loved ones.

  • Dealing with separation and divorce.

  • Dealing with the loss of a job, change in career or financial instability.

  • Dealing with infidelity (for partners, lovers and anyone impacted by infidelity).
